The Sony PlayStation II & III?

What? There is a PlayStation II and III coming? Well, should you wait for the "next" next generation? Absolutely 100% NOT! The Playstation II is slated for release in 1998 and the PlayStation III in 2003. In the videogame industry, that is a very long time from now! Get the current PlayStation when it is released, and rack up your software library. Rest assured that your software also will work on the new systems, years from now! By then, Tekken will bring fond memories from the past...

Of course Sony is working on faster hardware. Who isn't? They haven't released any specs. of the new systems yet, and it will probably be some time before they do. But developers have been briefed on what is happening. Don't you worry, Sony is 100% comitted to the PlayStation, and will not leave you out in the cold in 6 months. Get it now, before your neighbor does! (This fall, that is! :)
